So How Fast Can You Take a BMW 118d on the Autobahn?

While we are still in Germany, we headed from Stuttgart to Frankfurt for our final night here.  Our little BMW 118d rental car is actually really nice.  It absolutely has no balls like our Project 135I, but it gets up there.  There is alot of myths about the Autobahn and speeding.  However when there is no construction and no limit in place, it is all out.  With wet weather, we manage to hit 220 k/h, yes I know only 136 mph.  If there was a long enough stretch and I was more confident in the tires, we would have pegged this “estate” 1 series.

Check out our Project BMW 135I mods here and shop our BMW 1 Series Store Here.
