The BMW F87 M2 is a car that returns to the roots of the BMW M-sport lineup – a simple, no fuss sports car designed for pure driving enjoyment. Eisenmann already released their performance exhausts for the BMW F8x M3 and M4; now the wait is finally over for the new M2. Eisenmann’s exhaust system for the M2 had to deliver much of the same as it did for the others – a classic deep sound with no inline 6 rasp, even piping diameter and optimized gas flow, in addition to an exciting yet refined appearance. Eisenmann both developed and tested the M2 exhaust system over a 10-month period together with IND, carefully refining all attributes to ensure it was the best possible system for the car. Each exhaust system is constructed by hand from 304 grade stainless steel, at Eisenmann’s Stuttgart facility.
After nearly a year of being in development, the Eisenmann M2 performance exhaust has finally been revealed. This new system features a downpipe-back design, smooth and generously sized piping, and a tantalizing sound that will capture the hearts (and ears) of all M-sport enthusiasts. The canister has been carefully shaped to be entirely concealed behind the M2’s rear bumper, and the tips are positioned to perfectly fit under the vehicle’s rear valance.
Valve control is standard with the new M2 system. With this, you are able to transform the sound of the car by opening or closing the valves using the original BMW computer control. Eisenmann’s wide range of tip styles and finishes includes a variety of stainless steel tips in raw, brushed, polished, and black finishes, in addition to a carbon fiber tip option as well.
