Video: Gain +54 WHP +100 TQ with VR Tuned Ford Bronco ECU Tuning Kit

By now, most of you are familiar with our VR Tuned packages and have probably seen our features on the Ford Bronco ECU tuning kit. The VR Tuned kit is engineered to unleash the true potential of the Ford Bronco without affecting its warranty. This is a true plug-and-play solution to boost the Bronco’s 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine from 310bhp to 364bhp, and gain an additional 100 pound-feet of torque in the process! With manufacturers trying to increase fuel economy by adding forced induction to vehicles (ones that previously boasted large displacement engines), the ability to further tune them has become even more prevalent these days.

The main issue, however, is that these same manufacturers have gotten particularly strict with how you can access the ECUs to be tuned. These “anti-tuning” features make it much harder to read and write the ECU via the OBDII port. Some ECUs can be removed and flashed, but this is an immediate red flag to the dealer which will ultimately void your powertrain warranty. And on a new vehicle like the Ford Bronco, chances are most owners will want to keep their warranty intact for a bit. That is where the all-new VR Tuned Tuning Box Kit for the 2.7L EcoBoost Bronco comes into play and surpasses the competition.

Motoroso was kind enough to do a review on the VR Tuned Ford Bronco ECU Kit, outlining the features, benefits, installation process, and dyno testing results. In the video below, Alex (CEO and founder of Motoroso.com) gives viewers an up-close look at the latest and greatest piggyback tuning kit on the market by yours truly and showcases just how easy it is to kick your Bronco up a few notches without voiding the warranty. Don’t take our word for it, though. See what Motoroso had to say about the new Ford Bronco VR Tuned piggyback tuning module below! Spoiler alert: Motoroso tested this kit using 91 octane in the California heat and, to their surprise, got very close to the final figures reached by our in-house Mustang dyno.

The VR Tuned Ford Bronco tuning kit offers seven different levels of maps you can choose from. On the zero setting, it’ll basically run like stock. But on the seven setting, with 93 octane fuel, you can expect to see gains of 54 horsepower and 100 pound-feet of torque. This tuning kit is vehicle-specific for the Ford Bronco 2.7-liter EcoBoost engine so you can expect to see optimal results for your specific make and model. Engineered for boosted cars, this VR Tuned tuning kit is designed to be easily installed and uninstalled as needed. The harnesses feature OEM plugs that attach to necessary sensors where the pre-mapped tuning box gives your Ford Bronco huge performance gains.

Unlike other “piggyback” solutions available on the aftermarket, the VR Tuned V2 kit uses high-quality connections, wires, and casings designed to be engine mounted and withstand the elements to perform optimally for the long run. With that said, VR Tuned beats the competition with its ECU kits and has proven successful in even the most extreme of environments. So, what are you waiting for? Take your Bronco to the ultimate level with one of the simplest and most rewarding mods we offer!
