The Interco Super Swamper Narrow SSR is a radial tire designed for light vehicles and SUVs that may be used on and off the road. It has good traction in slippery and rainy weather thanks to the siping. The SSR provides a relatively quiet ride while maintaining an aggressive appearance.
The Super Swamper Radial TSL/SSR, also recognized as the SSR, is the second-gen of the Super Swamper Radial/TSL and features a fairly tight edition of the Super Swamper TSL chevron tread design, siping for wet road traction and snowy conditions, increased sidewall protection, and a unique side-wall styling for added traction, as well as being quieter to run. TSL (three-stage lug) is a huge lug design with each lug individually arranged, scaled, and positioned to allow them to bite fast and self-clean instantly.
SSRs, like most of Interco Tire's Super Swamper TSL versions, provide incomparable traction in the most extreme situations and feature an exceptionally aggressive model which provides today's on-and-off-road driver with a tire that is both directionally and laterally secure and unrivaled in performance. SSRs are off-road, purpose-built rubbers that are D.O.T. authorized and offer a remarkably smooth on-road ride with reduced road noise. SSRs are offered in over 40 typical wheel size and width combinations, including several OEM and OEM Plus sizes for Jeeps, SUVs, and 4WD light trucks.
The SSR Series of Super Swamper Radial TSLs is one of Interco Tire's most popular models for customers who do not want to alter (lift) their vehicles but yet want the performance that only a Super Swamper TSL can give. Note that the Super Swamper SSR's unique design necessitates accurate air pressure monitoring when used on the highway, and actual tread patterns may (slightly) differ depending on tire size.
The SSR Radial was designed for the driver who requires substantial off-road performance as well as good highway manners. It features siped lugs for icy situations and a revised sidewall for increased protection, with a little lighter tread pattern than the original Swamper tire. If you require a tire for heavy off-roading while still being able to drive on the street, this is the tire for you. Interco's Super Swamper SSR is a fantastic option.
The SSR Series Super Swamper Radial TSL is a blend of several positive attributes that, when combined, provide for an excellent Offroad tire while improving on some of the shortcomings of a mud tire on paved roads. To begin, the SSR builds on a well-established tread pattern that Interco tires are known for in their Super Swampers.
The three-stage lug design performs admirably in mud, as well as on rocks, heavy snow, loose, grainy ground, and shifting woodland routes. Its two rows of alternating "v" formed lugs in the center feature sipes that enable the tire to grip not just on rocks but also on wet roads and in snowy conditions better than standard mud-terrain tires.
The "stepped" design of the center lugs provides greater mud and debris release and self-cleaning as the wheel swings around for another bite of whatever you're plowing through.
An additional tread pattern protects the sidewalls, not only reducing sidewall damage but also assisting in finding grip in mud or over pebbles. Because the SSR is a radial tire, it has superior on-road performance than you may imagine, and it won't "flat spot" like a bias-ply on those cool nights when you've been sitting still for a while. Sizes up to 38" are available, with ply varying from 6, 8, and 10 depending on the model.
