The WP Pro rear brake rotor kit can greatly improve your stopping performance on the Kia Stinger. Upgrading your brake rotors will help provide better heat dissipation, allow for even wear of brake pads, and give you longer life out of your brakes overall. The 2 piece design saves rotational weight giving you better acceleration and even faster stopping. Whether being used for the street or track, upgrading your brake rotors from the standard rotors is a modification you do not want to skip!

One of the biggest advantages of 2 piece brake rotors is the rotational weight savings. Rotational weight savings has 3 times the affect over dead weight. So if you save 4lbs in rotational weight, that is like saving 12lbs of weight off each corner! Before the weight can be saved, WP Pro brake rotors go through an extensive manufacturing process. Rotors are heat treated up to 800°C (1472°F), to ensure the rotors can take the punishment from performance driving. Instead of large production runs like some manufactures, WP Pro treats each set of newborn rotors with a bespoke approach to dial them in by hand. Each rotor gets machined, assembled, and balanced to meet high quality standards.

The WP Pro rotors feature a unique Sun Cut pattern with the drilled holes. This design saves more weight compared to standard round discs and improves the longevity of the rotor from it's cooling capabilities. With more effective curved vanes in a V shape, these further help dissipate heat away from the rotors. This design improves cooling by pushing cool air from the center of the wheel to where the rotor needs it most. The rotors feature a CNC machined aluminum hat that secures the disc to the rotor with a hardware that gives a true floating design. The hard anodized brake hat is extremely durable to not wear and scratch like standard anodized or powdercoated finishes. With the floating hardware design, this makes on the brake rotor the consumable item so you never have to replace the brake hat. Each kit is sold as a complete axle set up to work with the factory or aftermarket brake pads and stock caliper.

WP Pro Brakes has been in business since 1981 with facilities in Canada, Taiwan, and the UK producing high quality OEM and aftermarket braking systems. It does everything from forging, machining, assembly, and even race car testing. This is not just another colored chinese caliper kit, there is engineering behind the WP Pro components. Proving this point is their Race/Track brake systems. The specific calipers share the same body as their beautiful EX6 6piston caliper but with titanium vented pistons, 3D machining on the body, for where looks are secondary, and performance is the main focus. The 6-piston race caliper weighs just 2.6kg and is designed strictly for racing. These WP Pro racing kits were developed for the WTCC and Asia Carrera Cup racing series. Having partnered with the Chevrolet Cruze WTCC teams, their 4 piston calipers are the same design as the EX6 and include anti-knock-back springs, titanium piston covers with stainless steel pistons, and a structural bridge. These calipers were tested against some major companies' calipers and proved stronger and more rigid.

What we are really excited about is its Carbon Ceramic rotor offerings. For years it has been only the OEMs who had the carbon ceramic rotors as a factory options. This option could cost upwards of $30,000 and good luck finding cheap or any replacement parts. The reason carbon ceramic rotors are so highly desired is they are EXTREMELY lightweight and simply do not fade. WP Pro Brakes has a huge application list of Carbon Ceramic rotors for almost every high performance car including Aston Martin, Ferrari, Nissan GT-R, Porsche 996 997 Turbo or GT3, and others. Of course these are not or never will be priced as low as standard steel discs, but are much more affordable and for those looking at serious braking performance or upgrades, this is an amazing option. For some of the Carbon Ceramic kits, WP Pro offers the discs to work with the factory hat, or alternatively will include the hat assembly and pads. Some kits are even a Plus 1 size to give you more rotor surface for better braking. For price comparison, the front 997 Turbo carbon ceramic rotors to work with the OEM 6piston calipers are $7800. That is in the OEM size of 380x35 but they even do a 'Plus 1' kit to a 392x35mm!
