In its thoroughly refurbished edition, the Porsche 911 family, which offers the greatest versatility of models, now hosts further improved direct injection engines under the hood that can be combined with a coupe or a cabriolet body shell, the Targa edition or with a four-wheel or a rear-wheel drive. Akrapovic engineers prepared a homologated aftermarket Slip-On exhaust system for the refurbished 911 series, which provides 911 models with even greater power and unburdens the rear with regard to weight, thus offering better controlability. Additionally, the Akrapovic exhaust system boasts a special optional wireless kit for exhaust valves control, which offers a choice between a more sporty and loud and regular performance, suitable for everyday driving.

Several requirements must be met when developing a homologated exhaust system. The Akrapovic Slip-On exhaust system meets all of them to the highest degree, namely with regard to endurance, sound balance and comfort. Moreover, it improves efficiency. Increase in power is especially noticeable between 2,000 and 4,500 rpm. The homologated Slip-On exhaust system increases efficiency by 8.7 HP and offers an additional 16.8 Nm. The engineers were also able to decrease the weight of the exhaust system by almost 5 kilograms. In addition to appearance and sound, the 911 DFI also boasts a noticeably improved power to weight ratio.
