AMD 2 Inches Raised Cowl Hood Chevrolet Chevelle | El Camino 1968-1969

Each hood features a fully finished, factory style underside. Unlike fiberglass hoods, AMD steel hoods will not flex or warp over time. AMD steel hoods arrive in a black electro coat finish. This is not a primer. This is a sealer put on the steel to protect against rust. All hoods will require normal prep work (test fit, sand, prime) before paint can be applied. We strongly recommend having the hood painted and installed by a qualified auto body technician.
