The DeWALT DXSTFB048 was designed and engineered to provide you with a bench as sturdy and robust as the storage racks that inspired it. Ideal for both professional and home use it is made with the same powder-coated, industrial grade steel uprights and crossbeams as our 4-foot storage rack. The comfortable, high density foam-padded bench seat has a durable, rip and tear resistant vinyl cover that is easy to wipe clean and can easily support up to 1000 pounds of distributed weight. The lower, wire grid storage shelf has four locking clips that keep the deck secure and prevent warping and is a tight enough grid to hold most tools while still allowing dirt from soiled boots or similar debris to fall through.
The shelf can support up to 1500 pounds of distributed weight, letting you store more under the bench than boots and light tools. For added peace of mind and security, the heavy-duty, all steel frame construction has locking pins on the crossbeams so that they won't work loose when the bench is moved and rugged glass-filled nylon feet so it will not damage flooring. Just like the shelves on the storage rack that inspired it, the bench's lower storage shelf is fully adjustable in 2.35-inch increments.

DeWALT is a company that was established back in 1924 and was started by Raymond DeWALT. Working as the superintendent of Seabrook Farms, DeWALT was able to perfect the first woodworking machine that enables users to improve productivity and versatility.
The company originated in Leola, Pennsylvania, and first offered an electric universal woodworking machine known as the DeWALT "Wonder-Worker," which the user could configure in nine different ways. And 97 years after, DeWALT has maintained its position as the leading manufacturer of power tools worldwide.
During the war, the DeWALT company expanded its operation to meet the demands of government orders for its national defense department. After the war, the company continued its operation and even established facilities in different key strategic areas, including Canada.
In the 90s, DeWALT introduces its first portable electric power tools and accessories. Many professionals have used it in the industrial, home construction, and automotive industries. DeWALT then created a system that carries over 30 new cordless tools, including the most powerful cordless tool at the time, the 14.4-volt cordless drill/driver and 5 3/8" cordless saw. It has revolutionized the way tools are made, which we can observe up to this day.
The company offers a variety of products from cordless drill/drivers, screwdrivers, impact drivers, impact wrench, saws, flashlights, and combination drills, drivers, and hammer drills.
Today, they are offering over 200 electric power tools and over 800 accessories.
