This PROGRESS Rear Anti-sway bar is a larger 22mm diameter, and features two-hole adjustable rate bar ends. This is a easy-to-bolt-on component that will dramatically improve handling capability and minimize the traction-robbing body lean during cornering. This complete kit includes all necessary hardware including polyurethane bushings, TIG-welded reinforced bushing brackets and synthetic bushing grease. Progress anti-sway bars dramatically improve handling. How? They minimize the traction-robbing body "lean" that rolls part of the outside tires off the pavement. Our Sport-tuned Anti-roll bars replace skinny OEM bars and rubber bushings with larger diameter (stiffer) alloy steel bars and polyurethane bushings. More roll stiffness means less body "lean", and the tires stay flatter on the pavement (larger contact patches). The result is more grip and added driver control! -Less body roll means more traction, faster cornering speeds, and increased driver confidence. -Includes unique Progress mounting system and all necessary fasteners. Progress Anti-sway bars are cold-formed in-house using our custom-built precision bending equipment. Both laser-cut and CNC bar ends are MIG welded in place using a precise fixture for an exact fit. OEM 18mm sway bar rate = 334 lb/in. Progress 22mm (soft) rate = 772 lb/in. (231%) Progress 22mm (firm) rate = 1015 lb/in.(303%) NOTE: We suggest starting on the soft setting. NOTE: These are the sway bar rates, NOT the wheel rates.

Features:

  • Size: 22mm
  • Adjustment Range: 2 hole
  • This system is designed for use with OEM end links.
  • Sway bar is powder coated metallic gray.
Fitments:
  • Mazda 3 2014

Progress Technology anti-sway bars dramatically improve handling. How? They minimize the traction-robbing body "lean" that rolls part of the outside tires off the pavement. Our Sport-tuned Sway Bars replace smaller OEM sway bars and rubber bushings with larger diameter alloy steel bars and harder polyurethane bushings. Adding more "roll stiffness" means less body "lean" or "sway" and the tires remain flatter and better-connected to the pavement. The larger and more stable tire contact patches result in more grip, control and added driver confidence. Chassis tuning with larger and/or adjustable sway bars is a simple and effective method to improve chassis balance and minimize the excessive understeer (or plowing) so common in our modern vehicles. Progress Sway Bars are cold-formed in-house using our precision CNC bending equipment. Both laser-cut and CNC-machined sway bar ends are MIG-welded in place using precise fixtures for an exact fit. All Progress Sway Bars are developed and manufactured in-house and proudly made in the USA! All Progress Sway Bars are covered by our Limited Warranty to the original purchaser.

  • Cold-bent on modern CNC three-axis equipment
  • Alloy steel sway bar material
  • Fabricated bar ends & lateral rings are MIG-welded in place for an exact fit
