Forgeline Competition Series

The lightweight racing wheels of the Forgeline Competition Series are designed for racing cars and are dedicated to track duty. They are made of 6061-T6 forged aluminum and have features such as I-beamed spokes, deep-machined centers and aggressive load ratings that are extremely strong, extremely rigid and extremely lightweight. Forgeline custom builds these wheels in 17, "18," 19 "and 20" diameters to fit almost any application.

After more than 20 years of involvement with teams from virtually every sports car racing organization in the world, Forgeline learned what it takes to build a lightweight racing wheel that can withstand the harsh conditions of the sport. This knowledge has been applied to their latest and greatest-the best three-piece wheel to date: the GA3R.

Forgeline’s new "I-beamed" spoke technology reduces weight and applies additional strength and stiffness to the spokes of the wheel. The hidden titanium assembly hardware delivers a smooth, clean look and makes the cleaning of the wheels faster and easier. The design of the GA3R center allows plenty of room for caliper clearance and extreme brake fitting. And we have used a new proprietary, fast-drying super-strength sealer that is highly resistant to leakage and allows quick and easy repairs.

This makes every wheel in Forgeline Competition Series very light.  For nearly all types of vehicles, there is a wide variety of lightweight metal wheels on the market. The Forgeline Competition Series wheels are one clear example of lightweight wheels. Consider your wheels lighter, and make the suspension even smoother. Each bump can be more readily and efficiently managed. It helps keep the Forgeline Competition Series Wheels and tire in contact with the asphalt for longer and is excellent news for vehicle stability and braking. Lightweight wheels are also easier to mount when replacing factory wheels. If you like a particular aftermarket wheel, then at least try to fit the weight of the stock wheel. If necessary, it's easier to go lighter than stock.
