The Dueler H/P Sport AS is designed to match the performance of today's popular light-duty light trucks, combining traction, handling, and braking with ride quality and wear.
A high-silica tread compound on Dueler H/P Sport AS tires improves grip in wet and icy weather. This material is molded into a symmetric pattern with high-stiffness closed shoulders to improve turning and handling and circumferential. High-angle lateral grooves aid water evacuation and improve wet traction by directing water away from the footprint area. Biting edges are provided by full-depth tread design elements and designed sipes to enhance all-season performance throughout the tire's life. Twin steel belts are strengthened by spirally wrapped nylon in the tire's inner structure, increasing durability and lowering tire weight and rolling resistance.
