Don’t mind the title, the Enkei PF07 is deadly because of its drop-dead gorgeous looks. It needs no introduction.
Just look at those seven spokes protruding from the face of the wheel, almost extending outside the lip. This is a kind of wheel that will trick you into thinking that it is bigger in diameter.
The PF07 is designed to have its seven dynamic spokes reach toward the edge of the flange in a concave fashion to give the wheel additional depth and the appearance of being one size larger. The sides of the spokes are thinned to make them lighter while emphasizing the concave shape.
This design is combined with a double-lipped flange for an, especially aggressive look. The concepts of toughness and sport serve as inspiration for these design features. The PF07’s seven-spoke design offers superb cornering and resistance to impact, thus making it highly effective and efficient wheels for racing.
The PF07 belongs to a group of Enkei wheels where utmost attention to detail is poured. And because of this, the PF07 is wrought using the famed MAT process.
The Most Advanced Technology combines one-piece cast wheel technology with a rim forming technology called spinning process. Rim-Rolled technology shapes the rim to improve material elongation without sacrificing the wheels’ hardness. This hybrid process of casting and forging gives the PF07 high material strength while keeping manufacturing costs less than forged wheels.
What do you mean JWL standards? Almost all of Enkei wheels surpass that easily. The PF07 is no different.
The PF07 is engineered to pass rigorous testing. Enkei established their own test standard called “Spec-E,” which is tougher than JWL requirements. Enkei’s Spec-E test setting requires a higher drop point in the impact test and 20% more cycles for the rotary bending fatigue and dynamic radial fatigue tests than JWL standards.
