The Azenis FK510 is developed to provide driver trust in hot temperatures, so it is not meant to be repaired or replaced, stored, or driven in near and below cold temps, over ice, or on snow, like all ultra-high-performance summer tires.
The tread compound structure is shaped into an Adaptive Constant Pressure (ACP) asymmetric design approach. For improved lateral stability and low halting ranges, ACP increases pressure distribution across the contact patch, and the large, outboard shoulder frames offer the lateral grip needed during performance driving. At the molecular level, the tread compound was engineered to improve adhesion in wet environments, and the Switchback Siping improves throughout damp cornering to enhance rubber-to-road contact. In order to resist hydroplaning, four wide, circumferential grooves allow water to pass via the contact patch.
The Azenis FK510's internal structure incorporates the packaging mold form of Falken's Tension Control Technology to offer a versatile middle sidewall region for decreased impact hardness and a robust shoulder and bead region for handling functionality. To provide additional rigidity and high-speed stability, its two large steel belts are strengthened by a combination Aramid and nylon undertread cap ply.
Hybrid undertread cap ply offers both aramid and nylon fabrics with additional stiffness and high-speed flexibility.
High-speed cornering and directional grip are enhanced by wide shoulder blocks.
Intensive 4D Nano Design enables the compound to adhere to dry and wet road conditions, while four circumferential grooves efficiently distribute water for hydroplaning resistance.
The proprietary framework template form of Falken offers a more compact middle sidewall area to absorb shock while offering improved handling capabilities through the sidewall's rigid external shoulder tread and bead region.
Enhanced void ratio and dynamic sipe depth allow managed mobility while retaining the overall stiffness of the block, enhancing both directional stability and automobile-stop lengths.
