The Grabber X3 features a symmetric pattern with block chamfers and traction notches for grip on rough ground, as well as a tough off-road tread compound molded into a high void. Stone bumpers at the bottom of the grooves aid in removing stone and dirt, while evacuation channels drain mud from the tread. Red-letter sidewall style, developed from Grabber off-road performance tires and attached to the tire as a vulcanized tag that needs special maintenance and can be destroyed by impact with curbs and off-road dangers, is offered in select sizes.
The revolutionary Grabber X3 is an SUV/all-terrain tire designed for on- and off-road use, with an 80/20 off-road/on-road balance. General Tire's research engineers produced three technologies that will help them achieve a demanding number of needs: "Extreme Mud (X Mud)" for maximum traction in thick mud, "Extreme Dirt (X Dirt)" for traveling on dirt and gravel, and "Extreme Rock (X Rock)" for handling rocky terrain. All three depend on a tread design with deep grooves, mud-evacuation channels, and staggered edges to provide excellent traction on mud, sand, and gravel.
The tire's unique design includes chamfered block edges, wider tread grooves, and narrow grooves in the tread base to help stones dislodge faster and avoid lodging when driving over gravel. Grip edges positioned at various angles in the tire's tread provide optimal grip in all directions when traveling over rocks. A system of deflection ribs shields the sidewalls from stones and gravel, resulting in a particularly durable performance in difficult terrain.
The three-ply structure of the Grabber X3 adds extra strength and puncture resistance. The tire's efficiency on the sand and loose gravel have been enhanced by 5%, and its quality on rocky terrain has improved by ten percent compared to the previous tires. In terms of wet performance and noise, the Grabber X3 outperforms its predecessor on the road, while snow-covered ground performance improves by 10%. The Grabber X3 is available in 19 different sizes for 15- to 19-inch rims, with an M+S mark and the snowflake symbol to imply its all-season competency. This off-road professional is accepted for speeds of up to 100 mph in all sizes.
