Work M.C.O Racing Type CS Wheels

Why should I install Work M.C.O. Racing Type CS wheels?

Work Wheels never stop working on wheels. They have been established in the seventies and they show no signs of slowing down. They have a line for big luxury cars, a line for performance street cars, and the Racing Type CS wheel we have here which is made for, well, racing.

Introduced in 2014, the M.C.O Racing lineup is the latest addition to Work’s one-piece model lineup. The M.C.O. initials stand for Motor Concept One. The Racing Type CS is a motorsports influenced 10-spoke wheel that utilizes Work’s Flow forming technology barrel construction. It has various degrees of concavity based on wheel diameter and width.

Flow Forming is an incremental metal-forming technique in which a disk or tube of metal is formed over a mandrel by one or more rollers using tremendous pressure. The roller deforms the workpiece, forcing it against the mandrel, both axially lengthening and radially thinning it. Flow Formed wheels are wheels that have been made by applying pressure to the inner barrel of the wheel while it is spinning after the casting has taken place. This allows the wheel to be much lighter, stronger, have a greater resistance to shock, and a higher load capacity when compared to cast wheels.

Additionally, flow formed wheels cost much less that fully forged wheels without sacrificing most of the performance. It is why Work Wheels is big with this technology.

And because these are Work Wheels, the Racing Type CS can be ordered specifically for your application which makes every wheel bespoke to every car. With Work wheels, you get exactly what you need for your car. The M.C.O. Racing Type CS can be had in Silver, Black, White, or Red finishes to make your car stand out.
