Premier LTX tires have a silica and sunflower oil enhanced tread compound that improves traction in wet and cold conditions. This compound is molded into a light-truck-size-tuned symmetric tread design with a continuous center rib flanked by notched intermediate ribs and linked shoulder blocks to provide straight-line tracking as well as responsive dry-road handling. Michelin EverGrip Technology incorporates Expanding Rain Grooves around the tire and Emerging Grooves’ circumference across its shoulders. The Expanding Rain Grooves widen as the tire wears while Emerging Grooves open up across each shoulder block to help retain traction in wet and icy conditions.
