Pirelli's Street/Sport Truck All-Season tire, the Scorpion Zero All Season Plus, is designed for drivers of strong crossovers and SUVs, as well as sport-tuned and quality pickup trucks, who want a combination of increased performance capability and all-season convenience, such as the driving skills in light snow.
Pirelli's newest high-performance, all-season tread compound is fashioned into an asymmetric tread pattern on the Scorpion Zero All Season Plus. Special polymer blends and resins are used in the high-silica content matrix to ensure optimum, all-around function. In dry and wet circumstances, the asymmetric design uses big outboard shoulder blocks for quick handling and braking traction, while the stiff middle blocks help with dry grip.
Wet-weather traction is improved by including specific silica, and hydroplaning is avoided by four large circumferential grooves that drain water from the contact surface. Smaller tread blocks create the biting edges required for traction in slick, icy weather with winter-focused zigzag sipes.
The Scorpion Zero All Season Plus has two main steel belts with a spiral pattern wound nylon strength on the inside. Pirelli's engineers can fine-tune the combination of stiffness and performance by varying the tension of the reinforcement, and the two-ply polyester covering adds to the ride quality.

In areas of braking, acceleration, and cornering stability, this latest design looks to be on track to be the best in class. Pirelli has developed a high-silica content all-season tread compound and new high-performance paired with an asymmetric tread pattern that resembles their renowned P Zero All Season Plus for vehicles.
Thick outer shoulder blocks work hand in hand with the tire's stiffer center rib to improve steering control and sensation, as well as handling and cornering strength. It's a winning mix for this tire, as it provides excellent performance in this area. Four broad circumferential grooves channel water away from the tread and minimize the likelihood of hydroplaning, while the additional silica content improves traction on wet roads.
