SSR's latest evolution of the executor wheel series has been revealed. The Executor CV04 and CV04S' elegant and comfortable yet fashionable design suits high-end luxury sports cars as well as sports coupes. The CV04 is available in 19" and 20" diameters ranging from 8.0 "to 13.5" widths, The CV04S is available in 20" and 21" diameters ranging from 7.5 "to 12.5" widths. There is a full range of offsets as well as three types of disks for two face systems (Concave and Super Concave) (to optimize the outer rim profundity). The barrel begins as a flat piece of circular aluminum and is then molded into a barrel using a pressing machine. The material is very dense at this point which allows the barrel to be lightweight and solid. The barrel is then split into parts to become several wheels and sent for polishing -- separate barrel is then inserted precisely with the completed rim face and welded inside the barrel depending on the option of offset.
SSR integrates the latest technology in its lightweight 3 piece wheels design and manufacture. The three-piece wheel consists of an outer rim, inner rim, and center disk that allows SSR to offer a wide variety of offsets and ensures proper vehicle-specific fitting. The inner rim of the wheel is heat-treated for energy, using the HTM (Heat Treatment Manufacture) method that allows for weight savings using thinner material.
The demand for alloy wheels increased significantly in the 1970s when MK-I was published by SSR. The JWL standard was developed by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport in 1973 to guarantee the protection and assistance of alloy wheels. On the wheel, the JWL mark shows that only this norm will move. In 1981, VIA, a community third party inspecting the JWL standard, was developed. The quality standard for alloy wheels has become more stringent. Clearly - except for the SPEED STAR series - SSR wheels conform with the JWL standard.
