While upgrading your catback exhaust is a great way to increase exhaust flow and ultimately increase power output, if you don't also upgrade your header you could be missing out on big power gains. Aside from the big power increase, many BRZ owners upgrade their headers to get the Subaru rumble that the FA20 lacks. Earlier EJ powered Subarus feature unequal length headers which is what gives them the deep rumble we all know. The FA20 uses equal length headers from the factory and lacks that iconic rumble. By installing aftermarket unequal length headers, your BRZ will sound like a true Subaru!
