Enkei has always produced wheels that are beautifully subtle yet highly functional – especially if you suddenly wish to go racing.
The Enkei TSV provides you with the confidence during that spontaneous moment. It was built on the success of the Enkei M52 and YS5 as inspiration for a lightweight new tuning wheel led us to create the all-new wheel.
The TSV features 10 paired spokes that are spaced perfectly to evenly distribute the loads and stresses placed on wheels at the track. Doing this allowed Enkei to reduce the weight on the wheel without sacrificing rigidity.
The TSV is also constructed using Enkei’s legendary MAT process.
The Most Advanced Technology combines one-piece cast wheel technology with a rim forming technology called spinning process. Using this technique of casting and rim forming is critical to improving the material property and strength of the wheels. Rim-Rolled technology shapes the rim to improve material elongation without sacrificing the wheels’ hardness.
This hybrid process of casting and forging gives wheel high material strength while keeping manufacturing costs less than forged wheels.
With this state of the art construction, the TSV is engineered to pass rigorous testing. Enkei established their own test standard called “Spec-E,” which is tougher than JWL requirements. Enkei’s Spec-E test setting requires a higher drop point in the impact test and 20% more cycles for the rotary bending fatigue and dynamic radial fatigue tests compared to JWL standards.
The result is a classic and clean wheel design that works beautifully with late model sports sedans and coupes.
