The Autotuner Slave tool allows you to do OBD, bench, boot, datalogging and DTC features all in one tool. Once you have the customer vehicle, you read out the car and provide us that read. The Autotuner device is attached to the OBD port of the vehicle, and the actual ECU map file is duplicated and stored on the device. This map file is then uploaded to their headquarters for alteration via your dedicated dealer site; you can specify the type of alteration you need?for example, Stage 1,?Stage 2 Remap, DPF Removal, EGR Delete, SCR Delete. Within one hour (usually much less), the modified map file will be completely ready to be downloaded to the new Genius tool. The modified ECU map file can now be programmed back to the vehicle through the OBD port.
