What makes the Work emotion T7R Special?

The Emotior T7R wheel is one of the most recent additions in the popular Emotion Series from Work Wheels. The Emotion T7R features the same classic 7-spoke design of the iconic XT7 but with addition of Flow Forming Technology. This barrel process, also known as WFT, makes it possible to reduce the maximum weight without compromising durability during construction.

The WFT Process

Work’s flow form manufacturing method was originally used on the inner barrel of the Work Emotion CR Kiwami. After the barrel is casted, the mold is stretched out while an immense amount of pressure is applied to it.

This manufacturing method makes the macrostructure of aluminum more defined. Furthermore, allowing a thinner rim makes it lightweight, positively comparable to forged wheels. The tensile strength and tenacity required for the inner rim are dramatically increased and, at the same time, adding more durability on outer rim.

Work focuses heavily on the technology used in rim forming, the rim barrel in a WORK wheel is what sets the alloys apart from the competition. The rim barrel is the part of the wheel that takes most of the load of the vehicle. Work Wheels is one of the only companies in the world that has developed and used a Solid Rim Flange which provides extreme strength.
