The AEM 21-8019DC Brute Force Air Intake System is engineered to enhance airflow and performance by replacing the restrictive factory air intake components. This system is specifically designed for the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon models from 2004 to 2006. The intake system features an extra-large AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter that provides superior filtration and airflow, effectively increasing horsepower and torque.

The AEM Dryflow air filter, located in the original air box space, is protected by a heat shield that minimizes intake air temperature, further optimizing performance. Constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum, the intake tubing is finished in a durable gunmetal gray powder coat, ensuring longevity and resistance to corrosion. This system maintains compatibility with factory emissions control devices, including the mass air flow sensor and vacuum hose.

The tapered cylinder-shaped filter utilizes oil-free synthetic media, allowing for up to 100,000 miles of use before cleaning is necessary, depending on driving conditions.
