The AEM 21-8202DC Brute Force Air Intake System is engineered to enhance airflow and performance in specific Dodge Ram 1500 and 2500 models. This system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing, providing significant horsepower and torque gains. The setup features an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter, strategically relocated to the passenger-side engine bay. This relocation is complemented by a heat shield designed to minimize intake air temperature, further optimizing performance.

Constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum, the intake tubing boasts a durable gunmetal gray powder-coated finish. The design of the tubing ensures compatibility with the factory emissions control devices, including the crankcase breather hose, while connecting seamlessly to the throttle body via an AEM intake plenum system. The tapered AEM Dryflow air filter is crafted from oil-free synthetic media, capable of lasting up to 100,000 miles before requiring cleaning, depending on driving conditions.
