The AEM 21-8301DP Brute Force Air Intake System is engineered specifically for the Jeep Wrangler models from 1997 to 2002 with a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine. This intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing, resulting in notable gains in horsepower and torque. Designed, tuned, and dyno-tested, the 21-8301DP enhances airflow efficiency while maintaining compliance with emissions regulations.

At the core of this system is the AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter, which is strategically positioned in the original air box location and shielded by a heat shield to minimize intake air temperature. This design not only improves performance but also contributes to the longevity of the filter, which can last up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is necessary, depending on driving conditions. The air filter features a tapered cylinder shape and is made from oil-free synthetic media, ensuring excellent filtration without the need for additional oil.
