The AEM 21-691C Cold Air Intake System is engineered specifically for the 2010-2011 Kia Soul with a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine. This intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing, allowing for improved airflow and enhanced engine performance. AEM has meticulously tuned and dyno-tested this system to ensure optimal gains in horsepower and torque.
At the heart of the 21-691C is the oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter, designed to provide superior airflow and filtration without the need for oiling. This filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before requiring cleaning, depending on driving conditions. The filter is housed in the original air box location and is protected by a heat shield that minimizes intake air temperature, further contributing to performance gains.
Constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum, the intake tubing features a durable gunmetal gray powder-coated finish. This not only enhances the aesthetic appeal under the hood but also ensures longevity and resistance to corrosion.
