- The filters use specially designed media that allows performance and efficiency to be restored to near new each time by simply using compressed air (30-40 psi) from the inside out, making frequent washing unnecessary in order to restore filter performance. For a deep cleaning from extreme environments, a biodegradable cleaner such as Simple Green or other mild shop degreasers can be used. Simply place the filter in a solution or spray the cleaner on the filter. Allow the solution to loosen the particulate and then rinse thoroughly. Shake the filter or use compressed air from the inside outward to remove residual water and allow a full day or two to dry.
- As these motorsports grade carbon fiber parts are hand laid, slight imperfections or weave pattern variances can be expected.

LIMITED PRODUCT AND LABOR WARRANTY
This warranty applies to AMS parts and begins on the invoice date of part purchase and ends twelve (12) months or 12,000 miles from that date, whichever occurs first. Due to the variety of modifications and changes made to cars and/or engines that may affect the performance or durability of related components, AMS’s obligation under this warranty extends solely to the repair or replacement parts manufactured by AMS.
This warranty applies to AMS’ labor and begins on the invoice date and ends twelve (12) months from that date. AMS’s obligation under this limited labor warranty extends solely to the labor required for the repair of components or systems deemed by AMS Performance to have been damaged as a result of an AMS employee’s negligence during installation of those components, systems, or existing components and systems.
All warranty returns must be pre-authorized by contacting AMS at (847) 709-0530. Parts deemed under warranty will be repaired or replaced by AMS at no cost to the customer. Payment of the cost of labor related to said repair/replacement is at the sole discretion of AMS and will only be covered by AMS where the AMS part or parts were originally installed or service was performed at the AMS facility located at 1760 Metoyer Court, West Chicago, Illinois, 60185. Labor/service performed at any other facility is at the sole discretion of that facility and is excluded from this warranty.

The AMS Limited Product Warranty further excludes the following: Transportation and shipping charges, towing and rental car charges, damage to a component or assembly due to installation of replacement parts with specification(s) that differ in any material respect from the original vehicle manufacturer’s or AMS parts, damage resulting from the modification of an AMS part, damage resulting from the use of other manufacturer’s products in conjunction with AMS’ products or systems, damage to clutch or transmission components, maintenance services and parts when replaced during maintenance such as spark plugs, lubricants, fluids, engine tune-up parts, replacement filters, coolant and refrigerant, mechanical adjustments or repairs which result from normal wear and tear, drive belts, light bulbs, damage due to the failure to perform maintenance services at the specified intervals or in accordance with the instructions in the owner’s manual from the original vehicle manufacturer or AMS product instructions, damage attributed to negligence, improper installation, improper treatment contrary to the instructions in the owner’s manual from the original vehicle manufacturer or AMS product instructions, damage resulting from improper or contaminated fuel, damage to a AMS component as a result of a collision or repair, any vehicle/products operated and used in a competitive event, custom designed competition parts, incidental and /or consequential damages, including loss of time, inconvenience or loss of the use of the vehicle.
AMS’ Limited Product Warranty applies only to AMS vehicles and AMS products sold and installed through AMS Preferred Dealers and Installers.
LIMITED PACKAGE WARRANTY
This warranty applies to AMS packages and begins on the invoice date of part purchase and ends twelve (12) months or 12,000 miles from that date, whichever occurs first. Due to the variety of modifications and changes made to cars and/or engines that may affect the performance or durability of related components, AMS’s obligation under this warranty extends solely to the repair or replacement of a package or packages manufactured, installed and/or sold by AMS.
All warranty returns must be pre-authorized by contacting AMS at (847) 709-0530. Parts/packages deemed under warranty will be repaired or replaced by AMS at no cost to the customer Payment of the cost of labor related to said repair/replacement is at the sole direction of AMS and will only be covered by AMS in the event the AMS part or parts were originally installed or service was performed at the AMS facility located at 1760 Metoyer Court, West Chicago, Illinois, 60185. Labor/service performed at any other facility is at the sole discretion of that facility and is excluded from this warranty.
To file a warranty claim, AMS or the authorized dealer must be notified and the vehicle and/or part must be brought to AMS or the authorized dealer within seventy-two (72) hours of discovery of the defect, where feasible. Any returned merchandise shipped to AMS must be shipped with the AMS issued Return Authorization (RA) number clearly marked on the exterior of the shipping carton or package. Shipping charges to and from AMS are the responsibility of the customer.
To file a warranty claim, the part must be returned with proof of purchase, the customer name and address, type of car, year, odometer reading, and VIN number, the installation and removal date of the part, and the date the part was delivered. No claims will be considered without the aforementioned information and the original AMS part. Return freight charges must be prepaid. Collect charged returns will not be accepted. All parts replaced under warranty will become the sole property of AMS Performance.
EXCLUSIONS
Parts showing evidence of misapplication, abuse, misuse, improper maintenance, neglect, alterations from their original configuration, or failure to follow installation instructions are expressly not covered by this warranty.
AMS reserves the right to make changes to products, packages or specifications at any time without obligation to modify earlier installed products, packages or specifications. No person, company, or other organization is authorized to assume for AMS any warranty responsibility or make binding judgments regarding warranties of any parts, which from time to time may become subject of a warranty claim.
