$555.00

Auto Dolly

Model #M998043

Shopper Award

The Auto Dolly is placed under each tire of the vehicle, making the vehicle a rolling cart that will now roll in any direction with ease. Originally designed for a customer who need to move an over-sized load, the Super Duty Dolly is a specially reinforced deck design version of our 16" Dolly that also features SIX high capacity casters that allow a load capacity of 4,000 lbs. High capacity ball bearing swivel casters feature two grease zerks and mar resistant polyolefin wheels. Sold in single units and shipped fully assembled. Like all of Merrick's casters for The Auto Dolly, the standard caster contains a mar-resistant polyolefin wheel that also features a crown profile. The crown profile wheel means less rolling resistance in contact with the ground. The wheel profile also helps to pinch small debris out of the path, rather than coming to a screeching halt. Like the entire line of The Auto Dolly, the Super Duty Dolly is made of super-strong 3/8" steel not flimsy stamped steel. Unlike the Standard and Heavy Duty Dolly, the Super Duty Dolly is given two more casters. This means that an individual Super Duty Dolly has a weight capacity of a whopping 4000 lbs (8000 lbs per pair, 16,000 lbs per set of 4).

Features:

  • 4,200 lb. capacity per dolly
  • 6 Heavy Duty Polyolefin casters won't mar floors
  • Fully assembled
  • Made of 3/8" steel plate
  • Sold as singles

Throughout the housing industry, Jim Merrick was considered one of the three pioneers in the invention of automated housing machine tools. Starting with the invention of the Window Frame Clamp back in 1960, Merrick Machine Company, under the Triad brand name, has gone on to develop wood wall panel framing, steel stud framing, fastening, sub-component, and stair equipment and machines. Over 50 years down the road, Merrick Machine Company is under the direction of Jim's grandson, Russ Merrick who oversees six different companies: Merrick Machine Co., Triad Fastener, FuTek Tooling (all in Alda, NE), Triad Products Co. (Hastings, NE), and Denver Plastics in Wahoo, NE.
