Brabus Wheels | Why Your Mercedes-Benz needs Them

We don’t know who started it but there is always a tuning arm for every car manufacturer that wishes to go racing.

BMW has M. Toyota has TRD. Nissan has NISMO. Honda has Mugen. In the olden days, Alfa Romeo had Autodelta.

For as long as anyone can remember, Mercedes-Benz has always had its AMG tuning arm. AMG turns “normal” Benzes into fast cruisers that chew on asphalt … very fast.

And then there are even crazier companies like Brabus. A Mercedes-AMG G63 is already an outrageous SUV with more than 500 horsepower. There’s not a lot of people who need – or want – a rock climbing, continent leveling SUV to have more than 300 hp, anyways.

But then Brabus thinks 500 is not enough so they made a G-Class SUV with 800 horsepower and still do what a G-Class does best. Climb mountains.

But this is not really about Brabus’ out-of-this-world tuner cars, it’s about their wheels. 

Brabus are a tuning company that specialises in enhancing the specification and performance of standard Mercedes-Benz, Smart Car and Maybach model vehicles. Vehicles tuned by Brabus have a wide range of improvements over standard models - including, of course, their alloy wheels.

Brabus alloy wheels are manufactured using state-of-the-art forging technology. Their wheels’ spokes are offset and extend all the way to the outer edge of the rim flange.
