To really maximize your ride, I’d recommend going for the extended travel coilovers. Pair this kit with our 2.5 Slapper Bump Stop Kit, and you’ll have fantastic control, plus it’ll help prevent bottoming out on those rougher trails.

Now, let’s talk about the hardware. You’ll get boxed lower arms featuring 1-inch uniball pivots at the frame and Camburg X-joints at the spindle/knuckle. There’s also an optional billet upper arm with 7/8 heims at the frame and a hefty 1.25 uniball at the spindle/knuckle. And for those with 4WD, we’ve included heat-treated 4340 extended length front axle shafts, which are a must-have for durability.

Just a heads up—if you’ve already got Camburg upper arms, they won’t work with this kit because of the increased track width. This kit is specifically designed for 6-lug 4WD and Prerunner RWD Tacoma models, so make sure you’re in that ballpark.

Installation isn’t for the faint of heart, though. You’ll need to do some cutting, welding, and grinding, especially to remove factory mounts for the Slapper bump stop frame mounts. If you’re handy with tools, you’ll be just fine!
