If you're looking to take your ride to the next level, the 2.5 Slapper Bump Stop Kit is a solid addition to our new Trail Series long-travel kit or even your stock length performance lower arms. What’s great is that the lower arms are already tabbed for easy installation, so you won’t be wrestling with any complicated setups.

This kit really ramps up the strength and rigidity of your suspension. The double shear design for the upper arm frame pivots means you get a whole lot more control when you're out on the trails. Plus, if you’re after a more straightforward install, we’ve got a non-UCA gusset version that just includes a weld-on frame mount for the bump stop.

So, why should you care about bump stops? Well, adding them to our long-travel kit gives you better bottoming resistance and control. You’ll notice a softer, more plush ride over the little bumps, and it won’t bottom out as easily when you hit the bigger stuff. It’s all about keeping that suspension active where it counts.

Now, let’s talk about the slapper arm setup. This design allows the air bump to strike further outboard on the lower arm, which makes it way more effective. We’ve kept the motion ratio geometry consistent throughout the travel, so you won’t have to worry about the bump stop swiping the lower arm. It only kicks in when you’re really pushing the limits, letting your suspension do its thing in the ride zone. Oh, and we’ve even added a rubber pad to keep things quiet when they make contact—because who wants a noisy ride?

This kit is tailored for our custom FOX or King 2.5 bump stops, which function more like air shocks. We’ve spent a good amount of time testing these to ensure they work perfectly with our setup. The FOX bump stops come in a slick cerakoted gray finish, a high-performance ceramic coating that’s also used in their trophy truck race shocks. And don’t worry about the hardware; we include aircraft-grade AN bolts for the upper and lower mounts, ensuring maximum strength with the right grip and shoulder length.

Just a heads up, the mounts come raw since they need to be welded on. After you get them welded, we recommend giving them a spray with black Steel-IT to keep things looking sharp.
