With internal gusseting and FK 1" uniballs at the frame, you’re getting a setup that won’t flex or bind under braking like those cheap rubber or polyurethane bushings do. This means your suspension cycles smoothly up and down, keeping your geometry and alignment consistent, which is crucial for Toyota trucks since they rely on the lower arm for alignment.
The uniball spacers are 1.50" in diameter, which gives you a better clamping force in the frame mounts. This larger surface area prevents those pesky holes from ovaling out over time, unlike the smaller sleeves used in standard bushings. And if you’re hitting the trails hard, you’ll appreciate how this setup keeps the alignment cams from loosening up.
We also ditched the weaker lower ball-joint in favor of a robust FK 1.00" uniball at the spindle. No need to mess with the spindle taper, either; we use heat-treated stainless-steel misalignment spacers that adapt the uniball perfectly. Our one-piece tapered uniball spacer is built to handle the stress, ensuring you get maximum strength and articulation.
To secure the spindle to the uniball, we’ve used AN 3/4" hex aircraft bolts. These bad boys have a specific shoulder and grip length, plus a head design that delivers higher tensile and shear strengths compared to those Grade 8 or 12.9 bolts. You can rest assured knowing they’re made to the highest quality control standards.
Installation is a breeze with these arms; they come fully equipped with all the necessary hardware, and they’re finished in a powder-coated Camburg gray.
