The primary function of the CAM-030053 limit straps is to prevent overextension of your suspension components, protecting your shocks, driveshafts, CV joints, and steering. Technical Data:

When installing limit straps, it’s essential to consider the tension and potential stretching over time. Typically, you can expect about ½ inch of stretch for every 12 inches of strap length, with extreme cases reaching up to 1 inch. To mitigate this, we recommend using multiple straps per wheel for off-road applications, which significantly reduces stretch. An adjustable limit strap mount can further help in compensating for any stretching that may occur.
