The Chase Bays Thermostatic Remote Oil Filter Adapter was designed to adapt a 180° F / 82° C thermostat and oil filter relocation in a high-flow pressure lossless, reliable, lightweight, compact, and aesthetically pleasing design.
The built-in thermostatic oil valve allows vehicle to warm up to operating temperature before sending oil through to an oil cooler. Without this the vehicle can take 20+ minutes to warm up and that&339;s of course, bad for the engine!
This uses a 3/4-16 thread oil filter which can be cross referenced to hundreds of applications, such as 93-98 Toyota Supra. We use an HKS 52009-AK007 Oil Filter on all of our builds which oversizes to 80mm height.
