If you own a Porsche 991 GT2 RS, you probably know how crucial it is to keep those charge temps in check. The stock intercooler setup? Let’s just say it’s more of a temporary fix than a real solution. That old-school water spray system from the '90s is a bit of a joke, right? Sure, you could slap on a bigger water tank, but it’s just a matter of time before you’re scrambling to refill it, and even then, the factory ECU is going to throttle your output to protect the engine. Not ideal for anyone who wants to push their car to the limit. Enter the CSF by PWR high-performance intercooler upgrade. This isn’t just another band-aid; it’s a serious upgrade that tackles heat soak head-on and keeps those charge air temps down, whether you’re running a stock setup, a tuned monster, or hitting the track hard. What makes this intercooler stand out? It features an F1-grade core that packs a punch without taking up extra space. The OEM intercoolers are built with a single row 7mm tall flat edge tube and a basic multi-louvered fin design. CSF’s intercoolers, on the other hand, boast a 2-row core with rolled tubes that are 3mm tall. Each tube is fitted with specially designed turbulated inner fins that maximize heat dissipation. This means better airflow and lower IATs, which translates into more power when you need it most. Plus, the rolled tube design means air flows more efficiently around the tubes, unlike the OEM setup which can scatter airflow. Both the stock and CSF intercoolers are built around 87mm thick cores with 103mm wide side channel end plates, making for a true drop-in fit. You won’t need to mess with your expensive carbon fiber air ducts, and installation is straightforward—just plug and play. Let’s talk durability. The CSF by PWR intercooler set is made from high-quality billet aluminum, so you're looking at serious strength and longevity. It’s pressure tested at 120 psi, which means it can handle extreme boost applications without breaking a sweat. Here’s a quick rundown of what you’re getting:
  • Heavy-duty bar & plate core construction for serious performance.
  • All-aluminum cast end tanks—no cheap plastic here.
  • High-density internal/external fin design for maximum cooling efficiency.
  • Drop-in installation—no modifications needed.
  • Pressure tested at 120 psi for reliability under boost.
  • Quick-connect inlet/outlet for a secure fit.
  • Top-notch thermal rejection powder coating finish.
And here’s the nitty-gritty:

Take care of your radiator, as under circumstances listed below the warranty will be void.

If the radiator is installed and is returned deformed (bulging tanks, warped core etc.), this is an indication that the radiator is the victim of some other problem and not the cause. The deformation is a result of the radiator being subjected to extremely high pressure and or temperature caused by any of the following reasons:Defective Pressure Cap, Defective Head Gasket, Defective Temperature gauge (incorrect readings), Defective Water Pump etc. Such units are not covered under the warranty.

If a radiator seems to have a “fit problem” there is the possibility that there is some confusion about a multi-fit radiator that might look different. Your nearest CSF WD can clarify the application, just give them a call. A perceived fit problem is not covered under warranty.

If a unit is damaged in shipping, please file a claim with the carrier. Damages caused during shipping, installation or handling are not covered under warranty.

Any repairs or alterations to the unit will automatically void the warranty.
