If you're looking to keep your engine oil temps in check while you're out tearing up the streets or carving corners on the track, the CSF Dual-Pass Oil Cooler is a solid choice. This cooler isn’t just another piece of gear; it’s designed with some real thought behind it. You can mount it just about anywhere—horizontally, vertically, or even parallel to the ground—as long as you ensure there's good airflow. The 45-degree front angle of the custom end tanks means it fits snugly inside those '73-style RS bumpers, which is a huge plus for those of us who appreciate a clean install. Now, if you’re serious about performance, CSF suggests doing a little cutting on the front tub. Yeah, it sounds a bit extreme, but trust me, it’s worth it. This modification allows for better airflow, which is crucial for keeping things cool, especially when you're idling or cruising at lower speeds. Plus, it opens up the option to add a rear fan shroud that pulls even more air through the cooler. What sets this cooler apart from the rest? The unique bar/plate design is a game-changer. Unlike traditional stacked coolers, this setup can fit into tighter spaces without sacrificing performance. You won’t have to worry about cramming multiple coolers together and choking off airflow. The inlet and outlet ports are placed in a way that makes routing your oil lines a breeze—no more awkward angles or running lines across the cooler. Built tough, this cooler can handle the rigors of the road. It’s pressure tested up to 120 psi and made from durable aluminum, so it won't back down when faced with debris or vibration. Whether you're using it for engine oil, transmission oil, or even power steering fluid, it's got you covered. And with its satin black finish, it not only looks good but also offers extreme protection against corrosion. In terms of specs, you’re looking at dimensions of 22" L x 4.75" H x 2.25" W, with a core surface of 18.9" L x 4.72" H. The M22 x 1.5 inlet and outlet connections make it easy to hook up, and it’s optimized to accept AN-16 connections too. Plus, those triangular flush mounting holes (M8 x 1.25) make installation straightforward. So, if you’re ready to give your Porsche 911—whether it’s from '69, '70, or '73—the cooling it deserves, this CSF oil cooler is a no-brainer. It’s built for performance, durability, and ease of use, making it a fantastic addition to your ride.
