The CIVIC 3Dr was originally finished competitively. The front bumper is so severe that it cannot cope with the gap in the road surface due to major design changes. In addition to pursuing an aggressive design as much as possible with a limited bumper size, the primary development concept for the Civic, which has limited power compared to large-displacement cars, is to reduce air resistance. The center duct of the front bumper created by C-WEST is a cooling conduit to the radiator and is suppressed to a minimum of air resistance, and the side duct on the driver's side can be used as a fresh air intake to the air cleaner box by piping. In addition, the front grille is an aero part for the CIVIC, which has an integrated bumper and is also lightweight.
