Built specifically for the Can-Am Maverick 1000R models from 2013 to 2016, this heavy-duty axle is designed to withstand the rigors of off-road driving while maintaining exceptional strength and reliability.

Construction and Design

This axle features a robust construction utilizing larger CV joints and shafts, providing a significant increase in diameter—15% to 20% over standard axles. The inner cage is crafted from 4340 chromoly steel, known for its high tensile strength and durability. The dual heat treatment process enhances the overall resilience of the axle, making it suitable for demanding environments.

Articulation and Travel

The PAXL-3015HD-6ET incorporates a unique double plunge design, allowing for enhanced articulation angles. The inboard joint offers approximately 40 degrees of articulation and can slide on the bar splines for an additional 1.5 inches of travel, while the outboard joint provides 0.5 inches of travel with a swing range of 45 to 47 degrees, depending on the specific model.

Boot and Lubrication

Equipped with TPEE (Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomer) boots, these axles are designed to be more robust than standard OEM boots. They resist punctures, fatigue, and temperature extremes, ensuring longevity in various conditions. The axles are packed with high-load molybdenum grease for low friction and smooth operation.
