Eagle CRS6260V3D Connecting Rods

The Eagle CRS6260V3D connecting rods are engineered for performance, crafted from forged 4340 steel for superior strength while remaining significantly lighter than factory rods. These H-beam rods are designed to withstand the demands of high-performance applications, making them an ideal choice for enthusiasts looking to enhance their engine's capabilities.

Construction and Features

Each rod undergoes a rigorous manufacturing process, including:

  • Multi-stage heat treatment for durability
  • X-ray inspection to ensure integrity
  • Sonic testing and magnafluxing to detect any flaws
  • Complete machining for precise fitment
  • Shot-peening to relieve stress in the metal

These rods feature precision cap alignment sleeves that ensure accurate positioning of each rod cap. They come equipped with silicon bronze bushings suitable for floating pin models, and are clearanced for stroker applications, allowing for additional cam-to-rod clearance in larger stroke configurations. The rods are available with either ARP 8740 or ARP 2000 rod bolts, rated at 190,000 psi and 230,000 psi respectively, with an option for ARP L-19 bolts rated at 265,000 psi for those seeking maximum strength.
