Each rod undergoes a rigorous multi-stage heat treatment process and is thoroughly inspected through X-ray and sonic testing, as well as magnafluxing. This level of scrutiny guarantees that you receive a product that is 100% machined and shot-peened to relieve stress, ensuring longevity and reliability in your engine.

The CRS5984K3D rods feature precision cap alignment sleeves that securely position each rod cap, alongside silicon bronze bushings for floating pin models. This thoughtful design allows for smoother operation and improved performance under load. If you're looking for versatility, these rods are also available in stroker models to provide additional cam-to-rod clearance for larger stroke configurations.

Included with your purchase are 190,000 psi rated ARP 8740 rod bolts, with options for 230,000 psi rated ARP 2000 bolts or even the robust 265,000 psi rated ARP L-19 bolts as upgrades. Comprehensive instructions and rod bolt lubrication are also provided to ensure a seamless installation process.

They manufacture their rods using a 2-piece forging process that allows the rod to be stronger. This process orients the "grain" of the metal to the direction of the stress. Eagle uses a state-of-the-art Sunnen Krossgrinding system that allows them to create perfect cuts and bore consistently.
