Construction and Testing

Each rod undergoes a rigorous multi-stage heat treatment process, ensuring optimal strength and reliability. The rods are meticulously X-rayed, sonic-tested, and magnafluxed to detect any potential flaws. Fully machined and shot-peened, these rods are stress-relieved, providing a robust foundation for high-performance builds.

Precision Engineering

The CRS5590TXD features precision cap alignment sleeves, which securely locate each rod cap, enhancing assembly accuracy. For floating pin applications, silicon bronze bushings are included, further improving performance. Additionally, these rods are available in stroker models, designed to accommodate larger cam-to-rod clearances for increased stroke combinations.

Rod Bolt Specifications
