Evolution Racewerks Charge Pipe for BMW 335i E9X N55 2011, 3" Polished Aluminum
$247.46

If you’re looking to get the most out of your BMW N55 engine, you might want to check out the Diverter Valve Charge Pipe. It’s designed specifically for the 135i and 335i models, and trust me, it’s a game changer. One thing that often gets overlooked is how charged intake airflow plays a big role in throttle response and turbo lag. With this charge pipe, you get smooth bends and minimal obstructions, which means better airflow and, ultimately, more power.

We went with 6061 aluminum for the piping—it's lightweight and mandrel bent, which helps with those smooth transitions. The 3” piping matches up perfectly with the factory throttle body, which is a step up from the stock 2.5” pipe. This means maximum flow without any bottlenecks, setting you up for some serious performance gains.

What’s cool is that Evolution Racewerks was the first to replicate the factory throttle body flange with their N54 charge pipe, and they’ve brought that same attention to detail to the N55. They really took their time during R&D to make sure that connection at the throttle body is solid. It uses an o-ring inside the throttle body flange that’s held in place by a c-clip. This setup not only works great but also makes installation and removal a breeze.

When they tested this connection, they pushed it to 25 PSI before one of the intake pipes blew off. They felt confident it could handle even more, as the throttle body flange showed no signs of wear. It’s a solid design, and BMW wouldn’t use it in critical areas like the coolant and clutch systems if they didn’t trust its durability.

Now, some competitors are using silicone hose connections for their throttle body setups, but that’s just not the way to go. The throttle body lip is too short, and without proper beading, you run the risk of the hose blowing off under boost. Evolution Racewerks spent a lot of time and resources to create a factory-style connection that’s reliable and effective. They also addressed the MAP sensor issue by CNC machining a replica flange that utilizes the factory o-ring seal, ensuring no boost leaks.

  • Improves throttle response and cuts down on turbo lag.
  • Made from lightweight, high-grade 6061 aluminum.
  • 3” piping that fits the factory throttle body perfectly.
  • Retains the factory-style o-ring throttle body lock flange for a leak-free connection.

  • Beaded ends and T-bolt clamps to keep intercooler piping secure under boost.
  • Optional Type III Hard Black Anodizing for a stealthy, OEM look and extra durability.
  • Compatible with the factory electronic diverter valve.
  • Comes with all the hardware you need for a complete install.
  • Limited Lifetime Warranty for peace of mind.

Fitment: This charge pipe fits the BMW 335i E9X N55 from 2011 and the BMW 135i from 2011-2013.

Notes: Keep in mind, this product is intended for off-road use only and is not legal for use on pollution-controlled vehicles on public highways. Also, it’s not for sale or installation in California.

In short, if you’re serious about unlocking the potential of your BMW, this Diverter Valve Charge Pipe is worth considering. It’s built tough, designed for performance, and will definitely give your ride the boost it needs.
