Extreme Turbo Systems 800-10-IC-22 Intercooler Upgrade

The Extreme Turbo Systems 800-10-IC-22 intercooler is engineered for serious performance gains in your Mazda RX-7 (1993-2002). This intercooler is designed to optimize charge air temperatures and improve overall efficiency, making it an essential upgrade for enthusiasts pushing their vehicles to the limit.

Performance Enhancements

Developed on a shop car equipped with a T66 turbo and Haltech management, this intercooler addresses the common issues seen with factory setups. Initial testing with an Apexi FMIC kit revealed charge air temperatures peaking at 140-150°F, leading to detonation in higher gears. After the installation of the 800-10-IC-22, charge air temperatures dropped significantly to a maximum of 122°F, allowing for a boost increase to 23psi without any signs of detonation. Coolant temperatures also improved, remaining consistently between 185-195°F, even under heavy load.
