Installation? Super straightforward. Thanks to its bolt-on design, you can get it on without any major headaches, and it keeps the crash beam intact for safety—this applies to both the 3" and 3.5" versions. You don’t want to compromise on safety while you’re chasing those horsepower numbers, right?
Now, about the specs: this intercooler comes in a couple of sizes—24"x11.5"x3.0" and 24"x11.5"x3.5". The 3.0" core can handle an impressive 1092cfm and supports up to 742hp at 79% efficiency, making it a solid direct replacement. If you step up to the 3.5" core, you’re looking at 1115cfm and a max of 758hp at 80% efficiency. That’s some serious airflow to keep your engine running cool.
For those of you who are really pushing the limits, there’s even a 24"x11.5"x4.0" option that can get you 1207cfm and 820hp at 81% efficiency, but heads up—you’ll need to trim the bumper beam for that one. Going all out? The 24"x11.5"x5.0" core can push you to 1368cfm and 930hp at 83% efficiency, but again, it’ll require some custom piping and bumper modifications. And if you want to hit the ultimate power potential, the 24"x11.5"x6.0" core offers a jaw-dropping 1472cfm and 1000hp at 83% efficiency, but be prepared to remove the bumper beam and do some cutting on the bumper cover.
