I’ve had mine installed for a while now, and let me tell you, the difference it makes is pretty impressive. Not only does it give your ride a more aggressive look with its full grill coverage, but it also cranks up the power in a way that’s hard to ignore.
One of the best things about this intercooler is how easy it is to install. The bolt-on design means you can get it set up without a ton of hassle, and it even keeps the crash beam intact if you go for the 3" or 3.5" versions. That’s a big plus for anyone who wants to maintain safety without sacrificing performance.
When it comes to specs, you’ve got options. The intercooler comes in a couple of core sizes: the 3.0" core delivers a solid 1092cfm and can handle up to 742hp at 79% efficiency, while the 3.5" core kicks it up a notch with 1115cfm and 758hp at 80% efficiency. Both are direct replacements, so you won’t have to worry about compatibility issues.
If you’re really chasing that extra edge, there’s a 4.0" Bar & Plate Core that pushes out 1207cfm and can support up to 820hp at 81% efficiency, but you’ll need to do a bit of trimming on the bumper beam for that one. For the ultimate setup, the 5.0" and 6.0" cores can handle 1368cfm-930hp and 1472cfm-1000hp respectively, but be prepared for some serious modifications like bumper beam removal and cutting the bumper cover.
