Developed in a real-world setting, this intercooler upgrade has been tested on a shop car equipped with a T66 turbo and a Haltech system, ensuring that it meets the demands of high-performance driving.

Performance Insights

When we initially installed an Apexi FMIC kit, we noticed that charge air temperatures would rise significantly, reaching 140-150 degrees. This led to slight detonation issues in higher gears, which was concerning. However, after switching to the 800-10-IC-03, we saw a remarkable drop in charge air temperatures, averaging around 110 degrees, and peaking at just 122 degrees. This improvement allowed us to safely run 23psi on pump gas without any detonation issues.
