Now, I get it—cheaper options might catch your eye. But trust me, those budget intercoolers are cheap for a reason. Most of them use a straight-through internal fin pack that’s more like a tunnel than anything else. That design leads to higher intake air temperatures, which can cause all sorts of issues like timing reduction and even detonation. You don’t want that for your engine.
Here’s what you can expect from our intercooler:
- We’ve strategically placed the inlets and outlets in the center of the core. This design allows for better air distribution and flow throughout the entire unit.
- Each inlet and outlet is hand ported to minimize turbulence. I’ve seen other brands just weld on a tube without any care for the inside, which creates unnecessary turbulence and messes with airflow.
As for fitment, this bad boy is designed for the Subaru WRX from 2022 to 2025. Just a heads up, you’ll need to pair it with an ETS Intake since it won’t fit with the OEM intake or air box. And the image you see shows the sleek Silver Core version, which looks as good as it performs.
