Extreme Turbo Systems 100-20-IC-042 Intercooler Upgrade

The Extreme Turbo Systems (ETS) 100-20-IC-042 is engineered for those who demand superior performance from their Mitsubishi Evolution 8 and 9. This intercooler is designed to significantly enhance charge air cooling efficiency, allowing your engine to perform at its best under various driving conditions.

Specifications

  • Core Dimensions: Available in multiple sizes including 24"x11.5"x3.0", 24"x11.5"x3.5", 24"x11.5"x4.0", 24"x11.5"x5.0", and 24"x11.5"x6.0".
  • Core Type: Bar and plate construction for optimal durability and heat dissipation.
  • Flow Rates:
    • 3.0" Core: 1092cfm - 742hp at 79% efficiency.
    • 3.5" Core: 1115cfm - 758hp at 80% efficiency.
    • 4.0" Core: 1207cfm - 820hp at 81% efficiency (requires bumper beam trimming).
    • 5.0" Core: 1368cfm - 930hp at 83% efficiency (requires bumper beam trimming and custom piping).
    • 6.0" Core: 1472cfm - 1000hp at 83% efficiency (requires bumper beam removal and cutting of the bumper cover).

Installation Notes

The bolt-on design facilitates straightforward installation, preserving the crash beam for safety in the 3.0" and 3.5" versions. For larger cores, modifications to the bumper beam and cover may be necessary, ensuring a snug fit while maximizing airflow.
