Now, let’s talk specs. You’ve got two core sizes to choose from: 24"x11.5"x3.0" and 24"x11.5"x3.5". The 3.0" core is no slouch, pushing out an impressive 1092cfm and supporting up to 742hp at 79% efficiency. If you want a bit more oomph, the 3.5" core steps it up to 1115cfm and 758hp at 80% efficiency. Both of these are direct replacements, so you won’t have to mess around too much.
For those of you who really want to push the limits, there’s the 24"x11.5"x4.0" core that offers a whopping 1207cfm and can handle up to 820hp at 81% efficiency, but you will need to do a bit of trimming on the bumper beam. If you’re feeling adventurous, the 24"x11.5"x5.0" core cranks it up to 1368cfm and 930hp at 83% efficiency, though you’ll need custom piping and some bumper trimming for that one. And for the ultimate in power, the 24"x11.5"x6.0" core can manage a staggering 1472cfm and up to 1000hp at 83% efficiency—but be prepared to remove the bumper beam and do some cutting on the bumper cover for that setup.
