For those pushing the limits of their 1993-1995 Mazda RX-7, the Extreme Turbo Systems 800-10-ICP-09 Intercooler Kit is a game changer. Designed specifically for your RX-7, this kit features 2.5" mandrel-bent piping that seamlessly connects from the turbo to the throttle body elbow. If you're equipped with a Greddy elbow on the throttle body side, you'll need to grab our 3" Greddy Elbow Pipe for the driver side to ensure a perfect fit.

Real-World Performance

This intercooler kit was developed on our shop's yellow FD, which runs a T66 turbo and Haltech management. Initially, we used an Apexi FMIC kit, but we noticed charge air temperatures creeping up to 140-150 degrees, leading to detonation in higher gears. After switching to the ETS kit, those temps dropped significantly to a max of 122 degrees, allowing us to run 23psi on pump gas without a hitch. Coolant temperatures also improved, staying between 185-195 degrees, even with a stock bumper.
